SwiftKit Chrome

SwiftKit Chrome, a new and useful addon for the Google Chrome browser.  With Google Chrome's rich Javascript engine I am hoping to create a highly useful partition to the RuneScape game screen.  Full of powerful and slick tools that you would want to use whilst playing RuneScape.  Right now its currently in early development, but in public BETA to allow me to get the UI working, whilst I work on adding all of the powerful utilities that will require more time than making the page look pretty!

What I want you, the user to do is test this on your own computer, you can find the link at https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/kkedckjhgikobofgeochemomjgcggchd once you've downloaded and installed (its a matter of meer kbs).  All you have to do then is navigate to the RuneScape page, and click 'Play now' and the addon will do the rest.  You'll notice a partition on the page to your right, with the highscore lookup.  Right now, at time of posting, highscores is the only tool complete, the next tab being Grand Exchange, and then the final one being other.  After you've seen it played around with it, if you notice something a bit wrong with it, say some text overlaps on something, anything you deem to be wrong or makes the partition look bad.  I want you to email me (zanith@bluelightdev.com) screenshots of this (rather than bothering trying to explain it, a screenshot will show me exactly what the problem with and also give me your resolution/dpi etc).

Now, everytime I make changes to that side partition, there wont be an updated version of the extension, because all the clever bits are done remotely.  Today I've even added the dungeoneering skill to the highscore lookup.  Now I am working on the grand exchange lookup utility with clever charts and much much more, so keep checking back for more dev blog posts.

If you're having issues with the extensions, or you want it disabled to allow a larger RuneScape screen, navigate your way to chrome://extensions/ and select disable.  Don't forget to re-enable later, as problems may be fixed rather quickly!
